All partners are members of BiiS e.V. [Federal Society of Property Investment Appraisers]. This is the professional amalgamation of independent appraisers specialised in the valuation of commercial property. It was founded in 2002 and currently has 102 members.
The Members of BiiS mainly value on behalf of institutional investors properties of an annual value of more than € 250 bn. As a result of progressive globalisation and increased cross-border investments, almost 50% of all valuations carried out today are of foreign properties.
Co-operation
As well as affiliations within the real estate appraisal business, the company has connections with German building damage experts, land surveyors and other specialists, with whom there is considerable synergy.
Birger Ehrenberg is also a partner of the valuation company VALEURO Kleiber und Partner, which specializes in the valuation of complex real estate portfolios covering the whole of Germany. Its lead partner is Prof. Wolfgang Kleiber, Dipl. Ing., FRICS, author and publisher of many important text books for the German real estate valuation industry.
